Below you will find thumbnails of the 6 team images that were submitted for the Superbowl of Birding Best Team-In-Action Photo Contest. Clicking any thumbnail will display a full-sized photo along with the team name, the title of the photo, and a link ("Vote As The Best") which you can click if you think the displayed photo is the best. Clicking the "Vote As The Best" link directly below the photo will display a new page which will show you the thumbnail of your selected photo and will ask for your email address (required), real name (required), and a comment (optional). Fill in your info and click "Submit Vote." As long as you haven't submitted a previous vote for the same email address and name your vote will be recorded.
Rules: Only one vote per person. People that share an email address can submit votes with the same email address as long as the name is different. Email addresses will be pinged to see that they are valid. Any votes that seem suspicious will be eliminated. Voting is open until 5:00pm Friday, February 3rd. The winning team photo will be announced at the Brookline Bird Club (BBC) Winter Meeting that starts at 7:00pm on February 3rd at the Bedford High School. Check the BBC web site for details. Results will be available from this web page after the BBC Winter Meeting announcement.
Prize Package for the Winning Team: The team with the winning image will be awarded the following prizes:
- Gift certificate for the entire team for $100 for The Grog.
- 2 books for each team member about birds and birding from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
- $25 gift certificate for each team member from Bird Watcher's Supply & Gift.
- Grab bag of cleaning kits, binocular suspenders, and hats from Swarovski Optik.
